Camera SportSeats are available in both portable and permanent models with up to 360° camera coverage. They can be positioned at playing level, on platforms or in the stands. Our design utilizes a camera mounting separate from the operator seat which eliminates vibration caused by operator movement.
Both portable and permanent models can be configured with legs or with the track resting on the riser. One person can install or remove portable models in less than 10 minutes. Three complete portable units can be transported and stored in an available cart.
Please Note: Space requirements are the same for both standard portable and permanent mount units. HOWEVER… Space requirements may vary on “Slash Angle” units since they usually do not require as great an angle coverage. 180° and 360° units have their own space requirements.
You can order Portable and/or Permanent mounts to suit your application and site conditions. Please allow us to review each camera location with you so we may customize the mounts to the actual condition.
Important! In all designs, whether portable or permanent, safety railings or glass in front of the camera must be removable or fold-able to take full advantage of the low height of the Camera SportSeat. Maximum obstruction height should be no more than 18 inches (46cm). If sight line impairment is important, a 34 to 36 inches (86-91cm) railing will be a problem.
Portable units are most commonly used in Interior Facilities where it is desirable to replace them with regular patron seating for other entertainment venues, where camera are not required.
The camera mounting platform, camera post, track and seat assembly are completely removable from the camera location, with no physical attachment to the precast concrete.
In use, normal patron seating is removed (it usually is modified so that several seats are removed as a unit) and the Camera SportSeat is placed in position.
There are no electrical or other connections required for the unit and one person can install or remove the unit in less than 10 minutes.
A Transport/Storage Cart is available, which holds three complete portable Camera SportSeat units.
|Permanent mount units are generally used in outdoor stadia or in stadia with retractable roof systems, where there is seldom a need to utilize the camera position for patron seating.|
